Spring 2026 Classes

Classes from MARCH-MAY will be on SATURDAYS at 8:30am

All classes are offered in person and online in a hybrid format. There are 6 in-person spots available for each class. You will select the format you plan to attend when you register for a class. If you choose virtual, a Zoom link will be emailed to you upon registration. If attending in person, the class will be held at 881 Madison Avenue in Mankato, Minnesota.

Class Description

Somayoga is a blend of neuroscience, classic yoga practices, and functional movement that builds intelligent and conscious body awareness. It releases tension patterns and retrains muscle imbalances. It regulates the nervous system, calms the mind, and strengthens the body. The blended methodology cultivates the ability to stimulate the relaxation response and creates a sense of safety in the body that allows the body to release tension, stress, trauma, and stuck emotions.

This class is accessible to everybody as you are guided to find the postures, movements, and variations that just right for your body’s needs that day. Each class will be tailored to who is in the class. It is ideal for anyone interested in finding a more free, curious, and awake relationship with their interconnected mind/body/spirit. No experience is necessary.

Everything you experience is a bodily experience. The body’s reactions to stress and trauma are difficult to uncover and resolve with traditional talk therapy. Therefore, a body-focused approach is an essential part of the healing process.
